We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our home.
The Senioren-Wohnpark opened in 1993 on the edge of a residential area and surrounded by a large park complete with
attractive goldfish pond. The site was chosen due to the convenient proximity of a modern health centre, the dialysis
centre and the hospital.
Neuruppin was founded 750 years ago as "the most Prussian of all Prussian towns". A hundred years ago it began to evolve
into a health resort famous for its beneficial air, and since then the "pearl" of the region has continued to attract numerous
tourists from near and far. Theodor Fontane for one was surprised by the town's classical architectural style, writing that
while it might be suitable for a busy and bustling royal seat, it was a dubious choice for a small provincial town! Nowadays
all the buildings in the 32,000 strong town are protected.
There are many well-preserved sights of historical interest to see in Neuruppin, such as the impressive town wall with its
towers, the Tempelgarten and the Klosterkirche church. The woods and lakes of the region make it a beautiful place for long
walks and interesting excursions.
Senioren-Wohnpark Neuruppin specializes in the care of elderly people, and 160 residents call it their home. All the rooms,
both single and double, are suitable for disabled people and are comfortably furnished. The friendly atmosphere is perceptible
as soon as you enter the home and step into the light and spacious entrance hall with its comfortable seating areas.
We host numerous cultural events for the residents and inhabitants of the town. The home is compact and well designed with
short distances between the living quarters, therapy and common rooms, so you will soon find your way around and feel at
home here. It is a place where you can remain independent yet still benefit from the security we offer. Our experienced
